Sorry Again

I have a few more designs that I would like to share. Again, it has been a while since I have been on. Busy life and all. Anyway, I am still preferring to do that "roll" method with the stamping. I find that just pressing down makes the image a little hazy sometimes.

Sorry

So I haven't been on here for a while. I have been dealing with things. Sister almost died, boyfriend and I broke up, knee is messed up now...list goes on. Anyway, I have a few designs I would like to share. I would also like to give a heads up to anyone who has acrylic nails, don't use the teal Jordana brand nail polish unless you have a really good base. It dyes your nails yellow. I use Tammy Taylor and it works good if you have a few coats.

Also, I bought the MASH nail plates and they work much better than the Bundle Monster ones. The full nail stamps are much bigger. Love them!!!

The nails that I have right now are the french tip with butterflies. As you can tell, I need to go get my nails done again, but you get the idea. Hope you enjoy! And please, follow me :)

Cheetah Print

Hey Everyone,
Sorry I haven't been on in the last couple days. Been dealing with family stuff. Both my sisters ended up getting surgery this weekend. One for a tumor (that ended up not being cancerous thank god) and the other to deliver a baby. My sister who had the baby ended up almost dying so I have been having a rough time. Last night, as I was trying to wined down, I decided to do my nails. I am pretty happy with them. I used the MASH plates with the Cheetah Print and a copper-brown nail polish from Jordana. The black is Pure Ice brand. Hope you like.

Black With Swirls

Hey Everyone,
So I did my nails again last night. I was trying to rush a little because I wanted to go to sleep. So below is how it turned out. I used actual Konad brand plates for this and I love them. It almost completely covered my thumb nail which is great. I still need more practice with this, but all in all, it worked well. I used Wet N' Wild black and then the stamp is Pure Ice in some frosty blue color. I think the Konad brand works much better than the Bundle Monster. I also received my MASH set yesterday too, so maybe I will try something with those tonight. Anyway, off to have lunch with my mother. I may write again later.

Purple With Flowers

Hello All,
So I just finished doing my nails and I love them! I found this dark purple nail polish from Wet N' Wild it is the fast dry kind. I love it! One coat and it is done. So then I did white flowers with my Konad, but when I tried to put on top coat, it faded the white. Anyway, got everything to work out finally, and below is the end result.

One thing that I was wishing for while doing my nails yesterday though, was as I was trying to work with my darker pink color, I had a hard time trying to see if the polish transferred right because I couldn't see the polish on the stamp because it was pink.

Anyway, hope you like it. Let me know what you think.

No Picture Today

Hey Everyone,
So last night I stayed up late again trying to do my nails. I painted my nails a light pink and then was going to use dark pink and stamp them. They just weren't turning out so today they are just pink with purple sparkles. Looks very Easterish. I will do more with them when I get home and post pictures tonight or tomorrow.

Blue With Silver Stars

Hey Everyone,

So last night I had my niece over and we had a little fun with our nails. At least, mostly. I got a little frustrated with the stamper last night because some of the stamps just didn't want to work. I tried the peacock, the lady bug, and the spider, and the spider web. It seems that I can't get the thin parts of them to pick up at all. I tried thick and thin polishes and non of them worked. Keep in mind that this is the Bundle Monster set and not Konad brand. Below are the plates I tried to use and which ones I had a hard time working with.

I just bought some real Konad brand plates last night so we will see how much better they work. I will post when I get them and do some designs as well. I also bought a set of plates that apparently almost exactly match Konad.

My nails turned out pretty decent. This is only my second time doing my nails so they are a bit rough, but I love out the light silver turned out. It is subtle and pretty. My niece's nails are also below. Sorry for the nail polish that is on the skin :) I was getting really sleeping and a little careless towards the end of the night. Lol.

Both hands, the base coats are Jordana brand and both of the stamps are Jordana brand as well. I was considering buying the Konad brand nail polish, but I was reading on other peoples blogs that it took forever to dry. I just don't have the patience to sit around waiting for my nails to dry sometimes, so I think I am going to stick with my polish.

I also came across another method of stamping yesterday while I was reading. One lady says she just pushes straight down on the plate with her stamping instead of doing the rolling motion, and she says that works better for her. Remember if trying this though, not to push too hard. I tried it last night and I think I prefer the rolling motion. Go ahead and comment if you have any tips.

I think that is it for now. Hope this was helpful.
